CBBC caters for all size of businesses, offers an exceptional resource of services, advice and ongoing support and is the largest membership organisation for UK companies doing business with China.
The CBBC membership programme is designed to keep you regularly updated on what is happening in China, build your China network, raise your China profile, access senior business and government officials, and from a network of local offices advice, knowledge and support. With more than fifty years of trusted links with China CBBC has proved to be an invaluable asset to our members.

Corporate membership
This is our core offering and is available to any UK company interested in developing its business with China. Benefits are comprehensive and include four main member contacts, plus the option for up to ten additional contacts in China or the UK. Corporate members receive priority access, attention and information from CBBC. They can vote at our AGM and stand for board election. Corporate membership fees are determined by the size of the enterprise and adhere to EU definitions:
Large £2,650 +VAT (250+ employees and annual turnover of €40M+)
Medium £1,350 +VAT (50-249 employees, annual turnover €7M-€40M)
Small £800 +VAT (1-49 employees, annual turnover less than €7M)
Associate membership
This is open to representatives of Chinese companies based in the UK, companies registered or based solely overseas (usually in China), and Trade Associations, Chambers of Commerce, Local Authorities or similar. Associate corporate members are linked in to our network, provided with access to key events, and regularly sent China business information.
Associate corporate membership is available to a single non-transferable contact. Full service and access is generally not required and this is reflected in the annual fee of £370 +VAT.
Individual membership
Individual members join our China Business Network. They receive information and networking opportunities to keep them informed, networked and updated on China. They also have the option to be included, for an additional fee, in our online suppliers’ directory.
Individual membership benefits are restricted and the membership is non-transferable. The annual fee is £160 +VAT. Inclusion in the suppliers’ directory is an additional £367.50 +VAT.
